What is Marriage counseling?
Relationship counseling is focused on how to help improve the important relationships in your life.
It can take the form of marriage counseling, couple counseling, or individual counseling depending on your unique circumstances.
Working with one of our counselors you will find a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space in which to discuss past and present issues. Once those issues are explored and understood, you are then able to consider ways to improve and build those relationships.

Why is Marriage Counseling Beneficial?
Each individual is unique and so are the relationships they experience every day. Similarly, counseling is unique to each individual and couple.
Counseling sessions consider how we behave, why we feel certain emotions, and why we respond to certain emotions and experiences the way we do.
This includes considering experiences from early childhood or other past relationships which may be negatively affecting our relationships in the present.
Exploring those experiences gives you a clearer understanding of how they have impacted you, your relationships and ways to manage them.
Appointments are available and 95% of our clients attend relationship counseling within 2 weeks of contacting us.
Daytime, evening, and Saturday appointments are available.
Recognized and Certified Counseling Services
All of our counselors are members of one or more of the following organizations: COSCA, BACP, AFT, or OTI ensuring the highest professional and clinical standards.
Our organization is a recipient of the COSCA Recognition Scheme Award for Organisations undertaking Counselling and Psychotherapy in Scotland.
How does Marriage Counseling work?
Sessions typically last for 50 minutes to 1 hour with a trained counselor. The counselor will ask some questions about you and your relationships and what you would like to achieve with counseling.
Typically the counselor will ask you questions about your experiences and how you are feeling. If you are not comfortable talking much it might take other forms like drawing or writing down your thoughts for example.
In all cases, you will find a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental environment.
To book a counseling session, please email us and we will get back to you with the most appropriate date and time-based on what you specified in your email.
